Review of Breakfast with Scot (2007) by Mareen K — 10 Apr 2010
It's the gay version of a hallmark movie. Predictable, cheesy, and fluffy. As far as gay movies go it is pretty good. The movie does scratch the surface of masculinity in gay culture and gender roles in society.
What adds most to this movie is the modern portrayal of a gay couple. It's not real life, movie couples never are, but presents them outside of the stereotypical gay movie characters.
