Review of Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) by Wrik S — 03 Sep 2010
Watch it for Hepburn and some of the dialogue. Granted I'm not a romantic comedy fan, but the only reason this film is remembered is for her performance, another actress in her spot and it would have passed into oblivion.
Unremarkable plot, cliche' ending and predictable character arc. But irresistible charm from Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn).
George Peppard was an unsympathetic character in my mind, I felt his performance was wooden, however he was also outclassed by his co-star.
