Review of Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) by Annette B — 02 May 2011
I watched this on TV and completely fell for the charm and beauty of Audrey Hepburn. She is wonderful, playing a damaged woman. George Peppard was brilliant too and I liked the juxtaposition of their two lives.
Both having lost their way and having rich people use them as their play thing. As the story played out its twists and turns I was completely enthralled in the will they wont they. Lost a star for the awful Mickey Rooney's downright racist part, which at the time would have been seen as hilarious but just made me feel uncomfortable.
