Breakfast at Tiffany's is an amazing coming of age about a woman who doesn't go by her real name. Holly Golightly was a woman who wouldn't even give her cat a name because she didn't feel like she deserved to be loved.
She felt this way until Paul Varjak came into her life. He showed her compassion and love. Holly being the pessimist that she is almost runs Paul out of her life Holly would need to change if she would ever be able to have a future with Paul.
After chasing after her cat in the rain she finally realized that Paul was really good for her. He changed her for the better.
