Often placed in the comedy section of the local video store.. this is anything but a comedy. the humorous moments (of which there are many) find themselves playing second fiddle to the powerful dramatic aspects of this totally class british movie.

an all star brit cast help to tell the tale of grimley collieries brassed band who fight to save their music, their jobs, their communities and essentially their lives.. against a government so set on taking it all away from them.
