Review of Boyz n the Hood (1991) by Elise M — 08 Mar 2009
A story about the vicious circle of violence for a group of friends growing up in south central. Great acting from the whole cast, especially Ice Cube in his first movie, though you'd never know it from the crap he does now.
It's amazing that this was the director's first movie, it's put together very well.
