I would have liked it better if not for three faults:
1. We never see the scope of the social conditions that merit the character's radicalism, just a few brawls and rants.
2. I'm incredibly sick of the "gang of outsiders" motif.
3. Bertha and Shelly's relationship never advances past lewdness.
