Review of Bottle Rocket (1996) by Bradley B — 02 May 2009
Just a lot of fun to watch. Wes Anderson really shows us all what he's got to offer in his first picture. While not critically acclaimed at the time, watching it now you cannot help but be in awe at the creative genius being born right in front of your eyes.
Both Wilson's are great, but Owen owns the Dignan character and he should definitely pull that one out again in the future (and sort of did in You, Me and Dupree). An under appreciated effort by Wilson and Anderson.
