Review of Born into Brothels: Calcutta's Red Light Kids (2004) by Stefanie F — 11 Mar 2010
A hard to watch film that is absolutely necessary. I take for granted every opportunity that I have been given because of where I was born. These children live in hopeless poverty, and many have a hopeless future.
But the one's who chose to break free of prostitution and poverty, and get an education, can get out of the brothels and live a normal life. Very uplifting and depressing at the same time...
