Review of Bone Tomahawk (2015) by Geoffrey B — 26 May 2016
An awesome slow-burn western/horror flick. It gets real gruesome at some points, but relies more on suspense and intrigue to propel a somewhat simple and traditional story arc. Lots of people won't like it as a horror movie because there aren't a lot of jump scares and it doesn't rely on gore (though, it does have some very brutal scenes), like-wise, in terms of what makes a western movie a western movie.
One of the most underrated movies I've seen this year.
