Review of Body Snatchers (1993) by Mark D — 15 Aug 2007
This 3rd remake of the Body Snatchers story is definitely the weakest of the 3. Watching this after watching the '78 version with Donald Sutherland makes me want to watch that one again. While there were a handful of creepy moments, most notably when the wife/mother of the main characters does her pod-scream thing, and the special effects are pretty good, the movie itself feels unbelievably dated and the characters are far too 2-dimensional.
Not the worst remake I've ever seen, but definitely far from the best.
