Fine neo-noir, and Kasdan's directorial debut. The plot is somewhat familiar, but he goes at it from an angle that kept me guessing. That one of my favorite actors is in it didn't keep it from being well-acted, either, and that's not to ignore Kathleen Turner's great screen debut.
Also one of few excellent roles for Ted Danson, who has one of the movie's best lines.
