Review of Body Heat (1981) by Jez M — 19 Sep 2012
From the score to the sweltering heatwave during which the story takes place, Body Heat is steeped in sweat and sex. Few movies have such a strong sense of identity, as the actions of Matty and Ned seem totally at home in Kasdan's sordid vision of 80s Florida.
A few spotty moments aside, Body Heat is a wonderfully realised film, and one which provides one of Hollywood's favourite leading men with perhaps his most iconic role.
