Review of Bob Roberts (1992) by Matthew H — 06 Sep 2008
I love this movie for all the wrong reasons. I really wish Robbins would've signed off on a soundtrack album. The songs are hilarious and right on. The "message" is a bunch of smarmy over wrought shit.
Giancarlo Esposito is sacrificed/wasted on that altar. "This Land was built for me" is so great. "Complain" is a classic, frankly because it's true.
