Review of Bob Roberts (1992) by Annelies S — 21 Nov 2010

"I didn't like the fact that Alan Rickman had such a small role :-) It was hard to stay awake during the film!".

So three years after I wrote this short opinion I rewatched the movie with much more concentration than before because I think Tim Robbins deserves my respect. This time I stayed awake very well and appreciated the soundtrack, written by the Robbins brothers. Although I toroughly hate Replublicans and Tories I enjoyed this movie but felt sick when I heard the lyrics. The end of the movie is a typical real life ending where injustice keeps winning. Awful but truthful. Oh yes my rating got much higher now. See it.
