I was blown away by the beauty of Dyan Cannon and Natalie Wood. That sort of breathtaking beauty where you are startled anytime they come on screen. I wasn't expecting something so raw and intense for the late 1960s.
The cavalier attitudes about infidelity were disconcerting to me even in 2008. The film has a good solid pace, and crescendos to a climax right when you need it to.
