Review of Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (1969) by Zane T — 09 Feb 2009
Very interesting film abot a married couple (Bob and Carol) who go to this group therapy session that is supposed to improve ones lovelife and relationship, and the two have a new outlook on life. They feel like the should "feel" things and really say whats on their mind.
So when they meet up with their friends Ted and Alice, they try to share their new meaning of life. The film goes by quickly, there are some great scene. Though Robert Culp (who I kept thinking was Robert Redford at time) and Natalie Wood are good, I loved Elliott Gould and Dyan Cannon (and it's awesome that they both got nominated for this).
Elliott and Cannon's scenes together were the best parts of the film. Though the end was a little weird, it's a very good dialogue driven movie.
