Review of Blue Velvet (1986) by Ulli B — 15 Apr 2010
Lynch practising for his Twin Peaks. Great atmosphere, Maclachlan is great as the simple minded boy entering the disturbing world of violence. Sometimes the acting is questionable (Rossellini/Hopper). Rossellini was once my dreamwoman, but after I saw her naked in this movie, it felt like a got a fist in my face.
