Review of Blue Velvet (1986) by Flying S — 16 Aug 2014
I wanted to love this movie like other people do but I just don't get it. It's a story about a man trying to save a woman from her abusive husband and it's dressed up as a dark atmospheric David Lynch movie, those 2 ideas don't mesh well together and makes for a confused movie.
If I used the Jeremy Jahns rating system it'd be a tour de force.
