Blue Velvet is a strange, dark, and eerie film. What makes the film so interesting is its definition of "facade". A seemingly innocent setting that really has a dark side to it, David Lynch demonstrates this facade for us by throwing in brilliant actors, and an unforgettable performance by Dennis Hopper.
