Review of Blue Like Jazz (2012) by Mike S — 30 Aug 2012
A thoughtful, humorous movie about a boy from a dysfunctional, fundamentalist home who goes off to the most secular college in the States determined to lose his faith. Wasn't sure if I'd like it after reading the critics' reviews, but absolutely loved it.
It's entertaining, well-made and deals with its themes of faith and doubt in a convincing and non-preachy way. Highly recommended.
