Unlike most director's Woody Allen seems to be getting better with age, or at least still making quality pictures, depending on who you are. Blue Jasmine is a great character study of an elite, entitled, blindly selfish woman.
Sadly, nowadays this character may be identifiable to a lot of American men and women trying to just trudge through life comfortably at any cost. Sadly.
