Riveting performance by Blanchett, but while it supposedly was depicting current society it seemed like it was off by 40 - 60 years through the old fashioned dialogue and unbelievable circumstances (there is no way a cashier could afford an apartment in SF).
Only worth seeing for Blanchett's performance.
