(2002) Blue Crush.
DRAMA.
Somewhat of a uncommon sport where I come from but fascinating regardless about optimistic teenage girl (Kate Bosworth) with it's goal of winning surfing contest! This is also about females independance without the reliance of men in terms of money since not all woman want to act as housewives! This yet again has excellent surfing photography, except the at very end since Bosworth is not a regular surfer herself (duh!) which provoked camera angles to be different as opposed to what they were showing much of the film and as a result may have made the surfing contest more complicated to understand for I had watch the ending two or three times to put a full grasp on it- as well as it's surfing rules! Definitely, not for everyone but exceptionally well made for female crowd!
