At the risk of sounding like an ignorant heathen - I did not enjoy this film at all. Yes it is stylishly shot and yes it looks at huge life issues in an intelligent way. But what's the point in all that if, ultimately, you're bored before you're even half way through? If you're a fan of art house then I suppose it's worth a watch.
I guess I'd just never have made it as a Beatnik.
