Review of Blow-Up (1966) by Alexandre X — 27 Dec 2007
I enjoyed it, probably because I love photography so much that the scenes of photography kept me interested, beyond that, um, well, it just felt a bit random, what I expected to be the intro to the plot turned out to be the whole plot which is spread out over two hours with seemingly random and unrelated scenes to pad it out.
I know, it's arty and has some sort of symbology, but, well, I didn't get it. But in contrast to what a lot of the reviews on here say, I like the photographer.
