Review of Blow-Up (1966) by John M — 21 Feb 2018
Antonioni for me is always a fascinating director to watch. Some of his films leave me bored, some confused. This film I was expecting to have the same perplexing thoughts about going in and while the film is entirely perplexing, the atmospheric nature at which it's executed is so serene, peaceful and resonant and whether or not you find yourself wrapped up in its bizarre mystery, there's so much else to look at.
The amount of interpretations to mull over here seems limitless. It's an extremely unique and mesmerizing piece of work.
