Review of Blow Out (1981) by Bob W — 13 Apr 2009
This is what like to call "the forgotten Travolta-movie". This is a classic from the very early 80's directed by Brian De Palma. It's a simple little story about deception and conspiracies as seen through the eyes of a sound-man.
The cast features the (then) young talents of both Travolta and Lithgow. This movie is well directed and acted, but when you watch it, please do not judge it by it's musical score, for that truly sounds like a porn-movie from the 70's.
But do watch it, this is a classic movie that should not be missed.
