If I could only let go of my irrational Untouchables love I'd tell you that Blow Out is withoutadoubt the Brian DePalma movies to end all Brian DePalma movies. Clinically aping Alfred Hitchcock and Dario Argento, DePalma delivers a gorgeous, dark-hearted thriller with John Travolta's best performance battling John Lithgow's greatest psycho.
And Nancy Allen is flat-out brilliant here to as the child-like prostitute in distress. Fantastic flick. VF.
