Review of Bloody Sunday (2002) by Mike M — 11 Mar 2008
A reminder of how a real artist can tell one of the saddest stories of the 20th century without succumbing to polemics. I disagree with Frazer (previous reviewer). There WERE villains in this real event.
Difference between McGovern and Greengrass is that Jimmy uses way too much exposition to make the villains obvious and in those caricatures, the truth gets lost.
