Review of Bloody Sunday (2002) by Ian C — 26 Mar 2017
Greengrass opting for shooting with a hand held camera gives the movie a real documentary feel. This degree of realism makes the movie even more disturbing. James Nesbitt gives one of the best performances that I've ever seen and this makes you ponder why he never made the leap to the big screen.
One of the many war crimes committed on Irish soil by the British Army but this cowardly act in particular really deserved to see those responsible on trial in The Hague.
