Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Hasan S — 04 Sep 2008
A fair crack at a twisting, intriguing, love-triangle-murder-thriller type plot. It starts very slowly but progressively gets better as the plot thickens. The acting seemed somewhat wooden in parts, but the story keeps it together well.
My only real gripe is that it is left very unfinished and the viewer is left to wonder where it could have gone next. Apart from that it's fairly solid, if a little slow for the first two thirds.
