Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Tommy M — 04 Jan 2009
I don't think it's their best, but it clearly shows how the Coens were born for the film noir atmosphere. Beyond the murder story, I enjoyed the array of symbolic shots most... no matter how much you try to clean up a mess, there will always be one drop of blood left behind.
