The formula can be seen in No Country for Old Men as well. The slow paced thriller doesnt grab you as much as No Country did but it was the Coen Brothers first film nonetheless. For that, it was a good flick but not my favorite Coen movie.
The Coen brothers did establish total control and knew every detail of the movie would be important.
