Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Scott A — 23 Aug 2013
Was kind of confusing when I was watching, but after reading a plot outline, I know get it. Basically a thriller where everyone seems to get the wrong idea throughout the story. I actually really disliked a few scenes, but now looking back, they make more sense.
All four leading roles are very good, especially Walsh.
Some of the violence is hardcore, and I really loved the ending sequence.
Some of the camerawork is really fantastic and the score, a simple piano riff, is amazing.
