Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Kurt E — 01 Nov 2009
Pleasingly simple and a great glimpse into the beginning of the Coen Brothers' career. I can't think of any other movie that gets this much from so little (it really only has five characters). I'm not ashamed to say I like a little polish though, so I wouldn't rate this higher than Fargo, No Country or Lebowski.
