Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Matt T — 01 Mar 2012
A masterpiece of neo-noir. It's a simple, direct slice of life (and death) about some rather awful people in a crap situation. Dirty, gritty, malignant, fatalistic. Walsh's private eye, Visser, is one of the screen's great despicable villains.
