Review of Blood Father (2016) by Don S — 01 Jun 2017

I'll preface this by admitting that I love revenge movies, especially ones that have fathers defending their daughters! And, I've got a soft spot for Gibson, despite all of his personal shortcomings.

That being said, I did like this film. It suffers greatly by poor acting - Moriarty isn't very good at all and Gibson's over reaction anger is silly, combined with his constant use of the f bomb, almost making him hard to take seriously.

But he looks good with the beard, tattoos, motorbike, etc., and when his anger is "normal", he's one bad mamma jamma! William H. Macy should have taken a pass on this, but I'm glad I didn't!
