Been there, seen that. If you're looking for an angst ridden revenge film (although technically this was more chase film) starring Gibson, rent Payback. A classic, noirish blast with great performances by a huge cast of stars, old stars and character actors.
Tortured, murky plot not improved by a very irritating performance by the female lead.
