Blood father provides one of the best performances for Mel Gibson in years. Mel Gibson is great in this movie. If you enjoy watching Mel Gibson revenge movies this movie is right up your alley. It may not be his best revenge flick and the movie does slow down a little bit towards the middle with afew unnecessary side plot points.
But overall it's a great Grindhouse type movie that I wish had a larger theatrical run.
