A gripping and realistic story of human life and its intricacies of balancing striving for good while being imperfect. One of the few well-done modern thrillers where the viewer feels tied to the fates of the characters in the film and engulfed in the plot as if sharing one fate.

Enthralled to see Mel Gibson back in Hollywood, after the industry gave him the shaft for directing the Passion of the Christ and for not selling out his beliefs and fidelity to historical and Biblical truth to political interest groups.

Without his believable performance this thriller would not have been nearly as good as it was.
