Review of Blood Beach (1980) by Michael T — 06 Nov 2010
Fun early 80's B-movie depicting the exploits of what looks like a huge subterranean artichoke with a taste for bumbling beachcombers in South-Cal. With a cast of some very recognizable faces, good acting & a workable plot.
However, gore-meisters will be gravely-disappointed, as the film is basically grue-free, and the creature effects leave a little to be desired. But all-in-all, an enjoyable experience for monster-lovers.
