Review of Blended (2014) by Steve W — 14 Aug 2014
Let's get one thing straight first of all. If you're looking for some comedic masterpieces like Annie Hall or Whoopi Goldberg in Ghost, "Blended" isn't the movie for you. However, if you're looking for an easy night out to just "escape the normalness reality", then this (quite funny) rom-com will do just the trick.
Even though the movie is highly predictable as more than the average funny romances are, it does have some cracking moments. Particularly, the basketball dance sequences, the singing band that reminds the audience of where the pair are at in terms of their seemingly "ill-fait" relationship and Barrymore's paragliding debacle.
Literally, I was in stitches for the best part of this movie.
