Review of Blended (2014) by Jacob H — 03 Dec 2016
I thought that for a modern Sandler film it still had a lot of great feel good moments. The chemistry between Barrymore and Sandler was believable but not quite as good as a film like 50 First Dates. This shows that maybe Sandler's mid to late 2000's run may have just been a mid life crisis and we could be in store for some movies that mirror the charm of his early work (The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, Happy Gilmore, e.
T.c) To conclude i'd say it's basically the plot scenario of having to go on an awkward family vacation from"Just Go With It" but done with better leads and some of that early Sandler charm that seems to be lacking in his later work.
