1/5★ Lazy, unfunny and manipulative. I was hoping to see some of the Sandler-Barrymore chemistry but that must have fizzled out because there wasn’t anything real, aside from a very expensive vacation for the cast.
I find it indicative of how Hollywood expects its leading ladies to look and what its leading men can get away with. Imagine if the looks were reversed- a lumpy, messy Drew Barrymore and a good-looking, in shape Sandler falling in love with her.
