Review of Blacula (1972) by Dave W — 13 Nov 2007
Well the name and trailer suggest a masterpiece. I nearly cried after I watched this. It starts off with count Dracula turning out to be a racist which is entertaining, but when it gets to the modern setting (the 70's) it goes down hill.
You get two super camp decoraters who find Blacula's coffin but after that entertainment value goes out the window. You can see that "Vampire in Brooklyn" basically rips this film off, and that was shit aswell.
2 stars for Count Dracula locking him in a coffin.
