Review of Blackhat (2015) by Brenda J — 23 Sep 2015

I was hoping for a slick, fast paced thriller and what I got was an utter snore-fest. Poorly written, zero excitement and absolutely no chemistry between the lead actors. Chris Hemsworth may want to stick with swinging a big hammer around and Michael Mann, the man who brought us Heat and Collateral, what are you doing producing low grade efforts like this?! The usual night time city landscapes are beautifully captured as they are in all Mann films but that fails to make up for everything else lacking.

The running time is 2 hours and 13 minutes, I felt as if that time had passed in the first half and hour :o(.
