Review of Black Water (2008) by Al M — 26 Jul 2013
Australian filmmakers prove that, once again, they know how to make natural horror films--Long Weekend, Rogue, etc. Black Water follows a trio who takes a boat tour and ends up on the wrong end of a crazed and bloodthirsty crocodile.
Tense and character-driven, there is nothing overly deep about Black Water, yet it manages to be a well-acted, competently directed, and unsettling thriller that will make you think twice before booking your next boat tour.
