Amazing recapturing of a failed mission made success by the bravery and sacrifice of the American soldiers involved. Introduces progressive cinematic elements which have been implemented in many of the modern movies we see today.
The music by Hans Zimmer seems to perfectly capture the blend and mood of the movie.
