Review of Bizan (2007) by Gabriel G — 22 May 2009
A lovely and tender film, about relations between mother and daughter, within the framework of the vibrant Awa Odori Festival, in Tokushima City, a real must of Japanese public events and celebrations.
The veteran Nobuko Miyamoto seems to be still great, and really desirable, despite the years. A work from her like her best times, in the 80's and 90's. Delicious movie.
